So, don't know if this has been discussed before I can't get the search function to work (new board glich?)

Anyway, something has always bothered me about the scene in DoD (2004) where they lower the dog down by a rope to bring food to the gunstore owner stranded in his shop.  I was under the general impression that zombies would attack any warm, living animal.  What's the general consensus here about this?

Does Dexter need a bite suit or what?

It depends on the cause of the zombism.  There are some strains where they just want to kill and/or eat anything alive.  There are some where they go stricly cannibalistic and only attack there own kind.  If it's from some kind of bio/chemical weapon the latter would seem to be more effective in that role.

Zombie Toy Dogs would be a great movie scene.  Think fast zombie dog meets piranha. Some of those dogs already look really evil.

Trying to score head shots on an angry, charging herd of zombie Chihuahuas would be terrifying

They will bark and give your position away. Dogs and your standard undead zombie do not mix.

Would birdshot be able to penetrate their little canine skulls?

They were definately UV phobic, but I think they were still Zombies of some flavor.

Though I can see points for either...They didn't seem to fill the typical criteria for either. huh. never thought of them as vamps.

If you saw the original, its about vampires. The dogs were weird though. I was not happy when sam turned....
