Desolate my ass..... I triple dog dare an unarmed white dude to hang around there at night!!!!! There'd be be pictures of his ass too..... In the obituary section of the Newspaper the next day! Don't feed me any of tha Chuck Norris shit either.
The Headline would read... " Dumbass white dude hangs out in the wrong place on the wrong night!".... News at 6!!!

That ain't shit, you should see the populated parts of Down Town Detroit where the crack zombies are stumbling around at late night a.m. Now thats Night of the Living Dead! There is an old gas station where all the old openings, garage bays and doors, have been concrete blocked filled and replaced with a steel door (locked) and a bullet proof pay slot window with so many bullet pocks that you can't see the person behind it. It is the only gas for 25 miles that is open 24-7. When you pull in all the crack zombies spin around like tops that are about to fall over and head towards you like heat seeking snails...
If your gonna get gas, you have to pump with one hand and hold your heater in the other––the po-lice ain't coming! |

I was hoping to see Robocop in one of those pictures. There are Republican run cities on the edge of bankruptcy so I don't think the crappy city government in Detroit is solely to blame. This was multiple failures. The failure of the American auto industry through poor management (bad designs, low reliability in the face of better cars from overseas), the failure of business models twisted around labor unions (it's arguable, but generous pensions were a crushing debt), The failure of our country to find a strategy to deal with a world economy. We have a whole rust belt in decay and it isn't just cheap labor overseas. Somehow the Germans are doing very well faced with the same planet. It's a very complex problem with a lot of moving parts but we need to find a way to overcome. My partial solution: Teach your children to work hard and to respect education. |

and just think.....that asshole tried to blow up that plane on approach over Detroit a Christmases back....
My question was.....how long before anyone notices? When they do....is the recovery gonna be something similar to "Escape from New York"??? I hate that freekin town, those people (like many other inner cities) will eat each other at the drop of a hat.....and they aren't even Zeds! |

i bet some of those old buildings, the big ones like the train station, could be bough for next to nothing.
and then turn thats shit into an zed fortress. of course you would have to clear the whole thing room by room with the real estate person, and constantly be shooting people for trespassing and spray painting you caslte. but hey, you'd never get bored. plus crack heads are good practice for zombies, and mech heads for ragers. |
