so i was talking to a guy the other day and he said durring the conversation that fema has a plan for these camps durring a disaster. did a little webvestigation and only found a few things on it and dont really want to take the websited word on some of the stuff i was reading. just wanted to know if you all have any knowledge of this and if it is false of what, ill link the site i looked at. also. read the part about the marine d.i story, it cracked me up, theres holes in the story being told. but as a marine, i have never heard of the usmc being envolved in this. and dought even if they were that fellow marines will allow this to fly. guy sounds like a crack-pot telling the story. though i could be wrong.

About 10 miles from my house there is a couple of fenced off acres with several Fima trailers inside. Nice neat rows. At first I thought they were Katrina trailers being stored except their appear to be hooked up to sewer at least. It's like they're there waiting for the next big event. Not 100% sure of the details as I didn't stop and was doing 50 mph when I passed. Just made a mental note.

So with advent modern communications, specifically the handheld commercially available GPS device... how come we don't have GEOCORDS of alleged concentration camps?
Where are the guards for it? Even if it is a skeleton crew, they're still there. Come on people. If you're smart enough to believe in this crap you're smart enough to think it through |

The whole problem with this FEMA camp issue is this. They are mandated by congress, and are real. But we have those who claim certain areas are FEMA, and have been found to be absolutely nothing, and therefore bringing into question any legitimate issues and claims.
So don't listen to every one claiming that they know where all of these camps are. On the other hand, to have accurate knowledge is king. StagPower |

I used to think that the notion of FEMA camps was absolutely retarded.
However, reading ARFCOM over the last couple of years has convinced me that government should have a plan to put some of the right wing nutjobs in this country into camps. I hope FEMA's working the issue. |

The FEMA base camp program was under me for awhile when I worked there. We always got the biggest kick out of the nut job "concentration camp" stories on the internet. Base camps are to house FEMA and other relief workers, FEMA disaster ops has the mission to build group housing sites for disaster survivors. |

It makes absolutely no sense that FEMA would have these so called concentration camps. Where would they obtain the food to feed so many hungry folks?
Oh, wait. Could a $1 billion order for # 10 cans of freeze dried/dehydrated food have any connection to these camps? Ludicrous! Pass that tinfoil ! |
