Got to keep my Dobermans from eating them for a while while their owner is out of town.

Black one is SHY as hell and won't come out of kitchen... Brown dog is a snugglebug, 'lapdog' type and friendly as can be. She even brought out one of HER toys to 'share' with my girls.

Neither one of these dogs are even pottytrained / housetrained. Owner just confines them and used paper...

'MY' bitches will potty on cue when and where they are told to do so and will NOT cop a squat in the house no matter what...

(guy never took the time to TRAIN his dogs...)

Had to trim dewclaws and get appropriate size collars on them as soon as they arrived... A 'proper' owner would be embarrased to drop off a dog like this for someone to care for while they were out of town...

Both dogs are 'cute' but would never own a ratdog by choice personally...
This should be a good training experience for MY dogs in the end.

Sounds interesting. I've never understood using the potty pads for adult dogs unless you live in a high rise apartment and have to ride the elevator every day.

And nail trims have always been a "pet" peeve of mine. Twice a week, whether they need it or not.

Have fun with those two!

Completely agree.

They have come out of their shell a bit and are getting more comfortable now. Brown one goes pottly out in the grass right alongside my girls EVERY time I take them out. She could be pottytrained easily if the owners tried. Other dog has no clue what 'grass' is for and prefers the paper. Have not seen her go in the grass even once yet.

My girls have been listening with respect to NOT messing with the guests but I have been trying to keep them all separated if not directly supervised.

You would have got a smile if you had spotted us in the van today on the way back and forth from work! One Doberman in the back DS seat looking out the window, One Doberman in the middle of the two front seats and two little chihuahuas peeking out the passenger side window!

Thank goodness the 'guests' ride well and do not get carsick! LOL!

Reminds me of my two.

They will end up getting along really well if you let them. And the confidence your two Dobes exhibit will be like therapy for the little nervous one.
