Here's our new GSP Skippy. That's the name the breeder gave him, and after a few weeks of not finding a name everyone in the family could agree on, we just stuck with it. He's been home now for a few months and is completely part of the family with the other 2 dogs and 2 cats.

If anyone is looking for a GSP, I highly recommend Tom Dwyer at Millbrook Kennels. We got our other GSP Zeke from him 10 years ago. He's famous, being on the cover of Tom's first book when he was a puppy, but we don't let that go to his head.

Here's Skippy.

My 10 YO Zeke is an amazing dog. Great personality and a natural hunter. I was injured in an off-duty car accident and spent most of the past 10 years going through spinal surgeries. He's been my constant companion on my walks along the riverbank. Even an 10, he's barely slowing down.

Here's one of my favorite pics. It was taken the first night Skippy was home. They just fell asleep like that. We didn't put them together.

And one of Zeke and Skippy playing what seems to be their hourly game of Tug of War. Zeke's trying hard to put his "tough face" on, but I don't believe it. I think his dentures were falling out!
