Who has one? How well does it work? All the usual review questions.

Wife and I would like to get one but aren't sure which.

We have one for our 3 cats. It works ok as long as you empty the tray every day. An every other week clean it. If we only had the one it would be great! You do have to use the litter the box recommends. We use something else, and it will jam on us every now and again. It is loud when it is doing a sweep. All around I like it. Just don't expect it to change the fact it needs to be taken car of daily. It just take less time than having 3 boxes.

This one works great although pricey, biggest issue was the first couple weeks the morons would try to climb back in when they heard the motor kick in for it to start the cleaning cycle by doing so it would stop until you hit the reset button, the curiosity wore off after a few weeks and everythings been good since. Requires clumping type litter, Just pull out the tray and and change waste bags, The ball gets taken outside and washed down every other week or so. Before this one the GF had tried a cheap one from petco or petsmart that wasn't worth a damn.

A gal I know swears by this http://www.catgenie.com/

I'd get one for our cats but they're very skittish and I'm not sure they'd do well with the noise. The concept of not having to handle cat poop anymore is wonderful to me.

We've had one for about four years now.  I love it.  All I have to do is clean it about every other month.  It makes having cats so much easier and our house doesn't smell since it cleans itself after every use.

I have kids, just as good as an automatic litter box.

Hey, they wanted the damn animals.

That thing is pretty slick! Got me curious now. It would be nice not to have to worry about dealing with it anymore.

I have had a litter robot for about 5 months. It is the greatest thing ever! I read a bunch of reviews and this one sounded the best. Use almost any clumping litter, and any trash bag. Nothing special to buy. I change the bag once a week with two cats using it. Litter seems to last longer, no smell at all, and they way it works there is nothing to jam or get stuck. Its expensive, but I would pay double for it if I had to. It is weird looking so some cats may have trouble getting used to it.
