Labs are great dogs and I have owned 3 of the four types, not sure if I am ready for the fourth one.

I always suggest to get your dog from a breeder who can assure you that the parents have been tested to have good or excellent hips and eyes. These can be a big problem for this breed and it's heartbreaking to have to have one of these adorable dogs put down or spend $$$$$$$'s on them because of genetic health problems.
