Anyone know a good place to get used firearm books? Specifically Black Rifle 2 by Chris Bartocci, or "The M1 Garand Rifle by Bruce N. Canfield"? I've been wanting to read them since Highschool, but never have had the money to drop 100$ on them... I live in California, and have already been trying to get my library to buy them for 2.5 years...

I would think that acquiring it yourself is the only option. It only takes one person to complain about a book especially covering guns which are not enjoying a great atmosphere in California.

Inter-library loan is your friend.  Ask about it at the librarians' desk.

Yup I've already tried that. I live in Alameda County.... Berkeley is in Alameda County, gives you the kinda mind set around here. I was lucky to even find a single gun book as a kid, and they were the ones where it just had pictures.

The librarians refused your request for inter-library loan?  I'd complain to the head librarian.
