Sean was one of my good friends.  He was my number one client at Wild River ranch and he was also our company attorney.

Sean was on his way to the ranch yesterday and when he didn’t show up as expected, I went looking for him.  We were aware he’d probably been in an accident since he was only about 30 minutes away when he stopped responding to calls and texts.   The local hospitals were helpful and I also had lots of cooperation and concern from the Victoria county sheriffs department and DPS in finding out the details of the accident.  Thanks guys for your help...

Sean and I tested tons of gear at the ranch over the last 15 years and he turned me on to some of the coolest stuff I’ve ever seen or used.  He had a tremendous  number of friends and clients for whom he would always bend over backward to help.

Thankfully, no one else in the family was with him.

He will be sorely missed...

Holy shit!

I didn’t know him at all, but I remember reading lots of his posts and who can forget the M&A choke out,  I was at that gun show.  SCVader for sure.

What’s really crazy is I commented on a thread he created on a Watch forum just yesterday and he had liked my comment.

RIP sir.

That’s shitty news. I’ve known Sean through this site since I sold him a scope back in 2003 or 2004. RIP.

Very sad. I will miss him.

Been to his house a few times for Christmas parties.

The most awesome gunshow tale in the history of gunshows belonged to Sean.

Very sad to hear, he did multiple trusts and other legal work for me.
Prayers out to his family.

I know it's early to be asking, but I'm sure some other Texas folks will chime in with some other pro 2nd attorneys familiar with NFA that we can use as a resource moving forward.  Sean was my only contact and after things have calmed down I'll reach out to Jennifer to see if there is another attorney that can pick up what he left behind.

Will be a very sad holiday season for his family

When I was at my lowest (lost job in the housing crash and also facing a viscous & nasty divorce from my awful ex "She-Devil"), Sean was kind enough to consult with me and give me great legal recommendations and good advice on other matters too.  All for the cost of some BBQ & Beer because he knew how broke and Broken I was.

People dump on lawyers all the time, but in my book Sean was a Great Guy

He was a Capital "C" 'Character' to be sure (Vader Choke!) and he will be missed by the many who knew him.

It is beyond sad that he has been taken from his family soon soon & suddenly.  He has two young sons and a lovely wife.

Rest In Peace Sean!  You were both a great Councillor and a true friend in time of need!
