Back to work today,all the interruptions while trying to put this all together,
Waiting on a call for an appointment I really don’t want to keep. Don’t know how long I’ll be able. Seems all the symptoms are worse once you’re told why. Put some stuff in the car last night- a few things I want a couple friends to have. Somehow looking at the stack makes you realize “yeah, this is really happening”. Be good to get out. The last 3 days have been filled with talks, calls,emails and text messages. Very tiring. Have a great day all. There’ll be something good in it. John |

My wife’s good friend has or at least had breast cancer last year. Cutting carbs keto style has shrunk the tumors to basically nothing. It’s worked for a good number of people now.
Carbs feed cancer. Starve it! |

Was hard first half of yesterday. Every time the phone rang thought it would be that call.
Call never came, so guess I will have to make it. Got the books done for the first of the month, a friend stopped by, customers came and went. Except for the conversation with my friend, went normal, but didn’t feel that way- have an underlying tension at work I wasn’ t feeling at home, or maybe I just didn’t notice. Mom’s going on 98, has a bit of dementia. Sisses don’t think I should tell her. But what if she wins “Last man standing”? And I talked to her Sunday- she knows somethings up. “How are you? How’s your eye? Are you ok? You sound tired”. So it’s going to cause a problem, but I’ve decided I have to. Told Karla last night I’ll start the conversation with: “Hey Mom, let’s draw straws” Thank again Everyone John |

I go on the Internet for information, and it gets overwhelming pretty fast. So far the best combo looks to be eat a keto diet and sit around all day wrecked on some cannabinol compound. Too bad I have a day job.

Guess least night was “angry” night. Tried telling myself she’s not angry with me, but yeah she is.
That’s ok- I am too somehow... Sold my hipower and my pre-70 National Match yesterday, so there’s a start to that. Thought it wouldn’t matter at this point, but was hard to see ‘em go. Gave some stuff away and had that talk with a couple friends wh hadn’t heard. Getting real tired of “that talk”. Oh- she got the safe open on the first try.

Sold another Colt yesterday. If my demise were tied to the depletion of my collection, I’d have a long, long time left.

Spoke with another sis (also with Medical experience) instead of trying to explain it all, I just read her the report- “Oh no, oh my” etc. “Medical” people have tended to have that kind of response, even a couple of my docs. But we had a good talk. Was at work with Karla all day. She says she just wants to spend as much time together as possible. Tuesday (anger day), she’d been off and talking to herself all day. Just doesn’t want to be alone, now or later. I will say this. Time, always is a gift. There are so many things to be done. Instructions for simple things around the house I’ve always done or taken care of. User names and passwords to so many online accounts. Where this or that is. Inventorying important documents (wills, deeds, titles, insurance,directives etc). Who to call for what. Been cancelling email subs all day- no more “daily deals”. And those are just a few. Get your stuff in order. There might not be time, or enough of it. Start today. John |

Hadn’t heard back from the cancer center(what a concept), so PROMISED I’d call today
Called the # on my phone, a recording let me know the #i had was just to identify that the call had come from somebody somewhere at the university, and to consult the directory for the # for the dept I’m trying to reach. Called, gave my name and the name of the person who called me last week. Got put on hold, with apologies. 10minutes later got apologies and put on hold again. FINALLY got connected with the person who had called, she apologized. And put me on hold. 3 Times...... Eventually, she lets me know that the person who is working on my case is someone else, apologizes, and puts me on hold So while on hold, she finds out that this someone else has talked with Dr so and so, who a week later is waiting on the imaging for review. I explain I’ve had the imaging on a dvd since 2:30 last Thursday and can provide it, but am told they need to get it from the imaging lab direct. In response to my question, at least the Dr has reviewed the report, and after a review of imaging, they’ll call me. 45 minutes and got nothing except an awsome headache. TLDR: If you think I’m gonna spend the rest of my life on hold, listening to crappy music, we need to have a talk.
