RIP. Wasn't long ago I was asking him about doing another round of support.

A great guy who made positive things happen. Those are the kind of people this world needs.

I had no idea he was ill.

In March, I IMed him for some insight about a story a BMSC told me regarding Navy Master at Arms assignments at Bangor in the 1970s.

He graciously took the time to give me the info I asked about. I would have liked to have met him.

My condolences and prayers to Karen, Nick and the family.

I only knew Bruce through the phone and email but he was a fantastic guy. His work with Team Ranstad was nothing short of amazing.

Fair winds and following seas brother. Godspeed into his loving arms.

My son and I was going through some of my Navy papers the other day, when I came across some of my papers for my TS clearance. There was a paper from an investigation in 1981 when Bruce was the MA for my battalion. We became friends on Guam. He got me out of a jam when I had to go in front of the XO for having my shotgun loaded while guarding the armory. He told the XO that he agreed with me that guarding something with an empty gun was dumb. XO let me go and I never had to guard the armory again. Bruce, you are one of the best.
