My older brother, luvpilot, was a faithful member of this community and everything it represents. He was a devoted husband and father, commercial airline pilot by trade, and an all around great fuckin guy. He was EXTREMELY passionate about family, flying, firearms, hard work, cars, the 2nd amendment, and the values that represent the way America ought to be. He was a huge inspiration to me and always had my back through thick and thin. My brother was extremely concerned about the direction this country is headed in the current political climate and took it upon himself to remain vigilant in these changing times. In short, this is the guy you would want by your side when SHTF.

This site meant a lot to him and I know he frequented it daily. Often times he would email me links to amusing posts and information about AR-15's, Handguns, Survival Forums, and Political Views. I always enjoyed that he shared his point of view with me and it helped us stay connected although we lived in different states. As my older brother I took my lead from him early in life and am grateful to have known him. He got me into AR-15's and we have spent countless days in the Arizona Desert blowing off steam, having fun, and shooting the shit out of whatever we wanted.....me, him, my Dad, and his 2 boys had a lot of good times together.

He passed while getting ready for work on Saturday morning while on a trip for work - he died doing what he loved to do: flying planes and providing for his family. His death was the result of natural causes (cardiac arrest) and no one had any idea as he did all the right things like exercising, eating right, quit smoking, blah blah blah. A grim reminder of the fact that when your number's up, it's time. He was 45

I usually don't post on these boards but wanted to honor his memory by saying a few words because I know how much arfcom and his passion for guns meant to him. Please ignore the low post count and recognize my desire to honor his memory.

Brother, you will be missed. You were one of the good guys.
