Fuck these guys were good back in the day. I heard Sober the other day somewhere and it made me remember how much I used to like this band. I've seen them live three times and they were fantastic every time.
Went to Best Buy yesterday and bought Opiate, Aenima, Undertow, and Laterallus. I owned them all before, but all of my CDs were stolen years ago. After listening to this stuff again I remember why I liked them so much. There just isn't anything like what they did. Agree or no?

| I was really in to them about five or six years ago, but I guess as I get older, I kinda gravitate away from Tool. I still like listening to them from time to time, but the "ZOMG they're amazing" thing isn't there anymore. There just ain't very many new(er) artists that really knock my socks off. |
But I got burnt out on 'em, so I only listen to 'em once in a while now.

I was really into these guys for a while.They are one of the best bands I've ever seen play live.The whole band is mindblowing talented.
Lately, though, it seems with the last couple of albums that they are on this whole "look how talented we are" self indulgent streak.I definitely prefer the older stuff. |
