Picked up a micro cube the other day to play around with. Never had much luck with small amps and I was getting tired of lugging my Fender over to my parents to just screw around on the porch with. I have tried the small Champs, Epiphones, etc. and they all do what they do very well, just not anything else.

The cube was kinda like a revelation to me, it doesnt sound boxy when tweaked right, it has alot of effects to screw around with so you have a large variety of tones to play with without having to haul my pedal board around with me. I have always been kind of a tube snob, so admitting that I like this little bugger sorta hurts, buts its just to cool not brag on. Try one, you'll like it!

I brought a Roland Cube 30 with me to college to play on. It's not bad, and it's pretty versatile too.
