Crowbar - Broken Glass

Acid Bath - Jezebel

Also, The Obsessed weren't from NOLA but they did rock.

Oh I know Wino's not from NOLA. I just added them as an edit. I used to hang out with Dax from Acid Bath though. Man I wish they would have never broken up. They had an awesome sound.

Much Love to NOLA, Ive always looked at it as our sister city to D/FW--   And Wino is a living legend in my opinion-- He is the master and he will probably never get the credit he deserves-- Man I pulled my groin lifting his gear and Ive moved/lifted a LOT of gear-- He is one LOUD sonofabitch!  DOWN has got me seriously pissed for not coming here, he is pissing off a LOT of TX fans-- I personally dont blame him for Dimes death, I think he just never quits bumping his gums.

One of my favorite albums, period.

At 19, I heard that album and realized it would be my life's work to combine the Sabbath-meets-Skynyrd vibe of NOLA with the outlaw country and gospel and R&B I grew up on, and truly make quintessential Southern metal.

Um, I'm still workin' on it. I mean, "life's work" means I've still got a while, right?
