Since Zeppelin ended, has Page done much of anything other than the Page & Plant thing in the 80s?

I was thinking that since he was such a ground breaker, influence, and talent, it's a shame we haven't heard from him consistently over the years.

Has he been in the background with producing & such?

He hasn't dona anything really. The only thing he has done lately, was the Zeppelin reunion in December. I really wish he wasn't aging, because he can't play like he used to.

While "The Firm" didn't set any sales records, it was a great band in the mid-80's with Jimi Page and Paul Rodgers at the helm.

Oh Yeah...  Then there was Coverdale-Page of the early '90s too, But I'm not familiar with their work.

He has been active in re mastering all of the Zeppelin catalog and the movies. He did some soundtracks in the early 80's and a thing with Plant in the 90s called No Quarter.

He really hasnt done a whole hell of a lot,  I guess he's just sat back and enjoyed his fortune.

I think he is a great musician, but Led Zeppelin was just one of those bands where the cosmos lined up and all the right people fell into place and the sum of the total was more than the individuals on their own. The band worked so well together in that format as a great rock band, but the 3 remaining members in the past 28 years havnt done a shitton of work.

I think JPJ did the most with all his studio work, but I dont think he gets along with the other two as well as RP and JP get along with each other.

You can't come up with "The Firm" or "Coverdale-Page" and I fail over a spelling mistake?  You hurt my feelings...  No more trivial for you.

Jones has been working nonstop, actually. Producing, mostly.

The Coverdale-Page was a good project.  I still listen to that CD quite a bit.  Good sound!

From their song "Pride and Joy":

So take me to your river, baby, take me to your sea
Purify my soul an' pour your ocean over me
Lead me to your chamber, where you sleep at night
Scratch your name across my back, make me feel alright
I have never felt this good before
If you want I'll sleep outside your door
You're the best time I have ever had
You look so good, oh babe, you must be bad
You must be bad

Oh... and who can forget the Page-Ice Puff Piddy Dog colaberation/obam-ilation/comedy fest  of Godzilla fame.
