Our church's old keyboard got cooked by a lightening strike & now we're looking to replace & upgrade.

Looking for something that has 88 weighted keys & can play as an organ or strings in a pinch.

Any suggestions on a model I should be looking at?

$2000 ish.

Our old keyboard was a 66 key (I think) & we did not use half of the electronic functions on it.

ETA - Here is the one our sound guy proposed, but our keyboard player thought it had more features than we would use.

The Korg SV-1 might be up your alley.  It stands for "stage vintage" and has some very cool organ and electric piano sounds, and well as acoustic piano and strings.  You should easily be able to pick one up for under two grand.
