I made the first flight of my RV6 on Saturday.
It took over 12 years to complete.
It took 6 months to get tailwheel endorsement and transition training.
Its all worth it.
If anyone else is building, keep at it, the reward is great.

Congratulations!

I just moved my -6A project to the hanger three weeks ago so I can put the big pieces together.

Congratulations!

I built my first plane, an RV-3, in 1987 and I have over 2500 hours in it.

I Liked it so much that I several years ago I decided to build an RV-4, it's about 80% complete now.  I can't wait!

Here's a recent shot of my instrument panel.....

Congrats to you! As much as I a love flying my Commander and am a HUGE proponent of General Aviation, it is the homebuilders & the EAA who will continue to lobby hardest for our passion and hopefully save GA in the face of an unfriendly Congress/Airline Industry!

Keep on flyin'!
