OKC is having their annual Air Show this weekend. I might end up getting some good pictures. It's probably a medium size event, the usual static displays and performers. Still it is fun to attend. will post back with photo update later this weekend

got the IM. didn't go this morning due to the muggy air and humidity. getting ready to go. I will try to get some good pics, but taking my little nephew so most pics might just be what is on display. Seems that the weather has cleared up a bit too so hoping that things turn out alright.

Arrived today after most flying was done... these are a few from last year and a couple from today... certainly not the best quality in the world.  I am not known for my photography talents

Glad you had fun!  I know the guy who owns that airplane. It's really gorgeous and very rare.

Were you inside an E3?

yeah, been in/on one a few times.

when I was in afrotc in college I did an incentive flight with one of the squadrons at Tinker. It was fun and good experience. From what i noticed, they seem to have a pretty relaxing, laid back job.

Odd that a UAE E-3 was there.
Never mind, I misread.

how can you tell cockpits apart? I know some are easy to spot out, but how is that one that I am pictured in different from a C-130 or a KC135 or any other similar to that one?

probably somewhat of an ignorant/stupid question

I googled the serial number.
Not stupid at all.  You aren't accustomed to noticing and using SNs.

And a C-130 is a propellor plane

But yeah, I saw it and immediately recognized it as a 707 variant...

C130 has propellors, but the controls look similar, because the props are driven by jet engines.
