on my epic quest for the elusive and rare down lock support assembly for a 1971 c177rg
If anyone has some information on whether 2041017-44 supersedes 2041017-4 it would be greatly appreciated!

I checked an old 1971 to 1978 177RG parts catalog and only found a 2041017-44 listed.
I also checked an old (1996) price list which contains supersedure information and did not find a 2041017-4 listed, only the 2041017-44.
