Just heard/saw two fighter jets go flying past the house at around maybe 500 feet? Not sure but i saw one but didnt get to see colors or anything but deffinitley heard two of them. Think it was an exercise?

Where do you live?
Are military aircraft common in the area?
Are they any political VIP's in the area?
What did the aircraft look like?
How loud were they?

Did you hear any explosions or any Kenny Loggins music?

Indiana, very loud, not often, and no large explosions i could hear, definitley fighters as to what model no clue

Most flights are exercises... Unless they were scrambled for something specific like an airspace incursion or something like that.

How long have you lived at that house?  Is this the first time you've witnessed jets flying over?  Do you live near any airports?

You probably live:
Near an entry or exit to a military low-level route
OR
In the vicinity of an aiport (but if that was the case this wouldn't be as abnormal)
