Dont get me wrong....I am not trying to stray from my beloved ARFCOM, but I am interested to hear about any
avation forums. I am not on any aviation type boards yet. So....what forums are out there and which do you recommend. Also, What Iphone/Ipad apps are must have for me. (I am VFR, working on IFR). |

They have an ATC app I downloaded for $3. Its from ATC.net and has quite a few airports atc chatter. Not many small airports though. I believe there is an NTSB app too but I didn't get it yet.
ETA: The ATC app helps me pick up how to talk on the radio. I have 6 hours right now and still learning that aspect. |

www.aero-news.net I can't stand any of the aviation forums I've visited, they're worse than gun forums for baloney and posers, almost as bad as car forums, and that's only because there are more cars. |

Don't you love a bunch of PPLs telling you how to fly and the guys that get bored and get ATP single engine just to be cool? I know were we all thee at one time, but dam it's like watching 16 year old boys trying to have an intelligent conversation about cars. |
