I just got this Humidor (pic below) I really like it but the only thing I don't like about it is the top part is sealed from the bottom and my oasis wont humidify the top. So I was thinking about strategically drilling 4 to 6 1/2 inch holes in the top to the bottom so the oasis will work in the top, does anyone think that this would be a problem? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks BOTL.

HKUSP_40 aka Josh http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/pennilesscaucasianrubbish/humidor.jpg That should be fine, but I will make sure the Oasis will blow thru one of the drilled hole, so the moist air get up to the top then cycle down. Moist air is heavier, so it will migrate down. Note: When drilling spanish cedar, be aware of the dust, they are toxic in dust form. |
