I guess I need to scroll down in the general forums more often. I didn't catch there was a cigar forum. Just wanted to say hi.
I've been puffing on stogies on and off since the time I was old enough to do so. I have a Partagas 1845 in my pocket. I've never smoked one before, so I think I'll pull up a chair outside tonight and ponder life. |

Thanks everyone.
It didn't stay in my pocket for long. I found it to be on the peppery side, but a decent smoke. Unfortunately, it began unwrapping after half way through. It held together enough to finish. I'm looking for a good cameroon, if anyone has a recommendation. Several years ago I purchased a box of Don Tomas cameroons. They were cheap and my first boy was about to be born, so I needed some to celebrate. Wow - those were smooth smokes. I really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, these no longer seem to be made. I have been looking for a good match for some time. I have tried some Rocky Patel cameroons (unbanded) and CAO Cx2. While those are good, neither seems to compare to what I remember. Maybe memory is always better than reality? ETA: my bad, a little google-fu turned up some Don Tomas cameroons. Just don't have them at my regular suppliers. |
