I have a small travel humidor (5 cigar pelican case type), and I do not trust the small sponge that is mounted inside to keep the humidity correct. Is there another option that can keep the humidity at 70%?

Small vile of beads, or a small boveda pack. I use one from an empty box of Serie V Melanio's.
www.cigarhumidification.net has an extra small tube of beads.

How long are you traveling?  If it is a pelican-type case it should be air tight. If your trip is not weeks long I wouldn't be too concerned about loss of humidity in the cigars.

I keep the humidor in my locker at work, and I do not trust that sponge to keep the humidity correct and consistent. I went ahead and just ordered the small packet as suggested. Thank You guys for the quick response, and have a great Thanksgiving.
