Which way do you prefer? Cut the end, punch a hole or pinch the end. Got a couple in today and I have always cut the like a regular gar. What do you do and why?

i use my pocket knife to cut out a nice size triangle, three quick stabs and off i go. since i've lost my keychain punch in a parking lot a few months ago.

I pinch the end and peel off that tiny bit of wrapper leaf that pops up.

for chisels, i typically punch all the way through the flats.
