Anyone used Colibri customer service? I have a lighter/cutter "BOSS" model that is in need of repair. Won't ignite. tried all the normal fixes, cutter is dull. Just curious if I will get it back if I send it to them. I read a few articles that said they were in recievership and in bad shape?

I have never had good luck with them.
That was one of the reasons I have become a Xikar whore.

They absolutely stand behind all of their products and never bat an eye with service and it returns.

My suggestion....give it a proper burial and go get you a new setup.

I replaced it long ago with Xikar stuff, I just have not finished the final part of the mission, throwing it away.

Yep dump it and go Xikar. You can get a new Xikar cutter and lighter for a great price on cbid. If you have any issues send it in and they will send you a brand a new one.

I had a Colibri that worked exactly 1 time then stopped working.  When I tried to send it back, I found out they went bankrupt and closed their doors.

Now, the are back in business, but fuck them.  I will never buy anything from Colibri.

They are shit lighters.

I now use a plastic Bic.
