Not a bad cigar. Burned nicely, not too strong.  About $7

I have no idea.  I was promised there would be cookies and punch.

the NINJA is a "G" word cigar

I would have actually been surprised if you knew that

Never tried any Gurkha cigars personally, and I do have a co-worker who loves them, and they certainly seem to be popular enough and selling well, but I have always been leery to try one, as I read a lot about consistency issues, and of construction/drying issues that seems to cause a disproportionate number of them to split badly towards the foot while smoking.

If` you have much experience with Gurkha's, please do confirm or deny what I have said, and give us some details on the Ninja

I got it and a few other cigars to celebrate a new job. I smoked half of it in the morning and re-lit it later. I am not sure how you connoisseurs feel about doing such a thing, but I figured I would give it a quick review. I am somewhat of a cigar noob, so pardon the lack of detail in my review. It really didn't warrant a huge write up, but it wasn't bad. Try one if you get a chance.
BTW: Cao Box pressed cameroons are one of my favorites. Maybe I will write a detailed review of them!

ETA: the construction was decent, and I did not experience splitting. Perhaps they need to work on their curing/drying

Same day ok. Next day not acceptable.

Try the nub Cameroon if you like Cameroon.

kind of wish the "ode to an unbanded cigar" thread wouldn't have died.
Would have been a good opportunity to get a Gurkha review out of Slavac ;)

I haven't tried the Ninja.

All of the other Gurkhas I've tried fell into two categories. They either tasted like cigarette tobacco with a side order of roofing tar, or they tasted okay but exploded.

In some cases, they both tasted bad and they splodeyated.
