I had one that was still pretty useable but just tore to shit a Camacho I was taking out to light up with it so that now makes two discussion pieces... The local shops here won't touch them. The restaurant knife sharpening place even told me to go "sod off"....smart ass euro-commie...ve haz planz for himz.... Any help would be appreciated. Echo |

Be careful who you let sharpen your cutters. My friend that is a barber has gone through 5 so called professionals on his cliper blades. Every time he gets them back they go in the garbage and orders a new set. Yep....tried the "well-known" barber first....he sent me to this place...they looked at it and said.."that's German...won't touch it". They do not have a webpage that I can find. I tried two retailers just outside of Berlin who just offered to sell me a new one. Then there was the knife place...and we won't get into that story again... One was passed down to me from a family member now gone. The story is that he carried it with him in his P-51 throughout his "adventures". The other was an EBay grab that turned out to be a real score upon arrival. I would take them apart and try it myself but...they're German and I really don't' want to tear them apart for fear of NEVER getting them back together again. One place recommended a watch repair place on the other side of town so I will try there tomorrow. |
