Me and my Dad both wanted a humidor that we could have out in the open when we had guests over, they would house our everyday smokes. We wanted something aethestically pleasing but we also knew that we would not store our cigars there permenantly. I purchases us this:
http://www.amazon.com/25-50-Cigar-Cherry-Finish-Humidor/dp/B0007W1EAG/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1270575417&sr=8-10 I then threw out the analog humidity reader and replaced it with a nicer digital unit, and I bought some mini bead bags from CI. After their first conditioning they have maintained 68-70% humidity at 69-71 degrees for over 2 months now. They look nice, and work well for storing 20-30 cigars. As a "desktop" humidor for an office, they work fine. I don't like glass top humidors, I don't think they work as well. |
