[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Another washer problem (fixed)

My washer will not spin the water out. It does spin just not very fast. I am thinking it maybe the belt. What do you guys think it could be? It is less then 3 years old. Frigidaire is the make of it.

Found the problem, it had a sock in the pump. Water all over the floor, but the wife said she more then happy to mop that up.

Motor, possibly the bearings. If it was the belt, you would probably her more squeaking and/or banging than normal.

what brand and how old is it?

Sounds like you might be saying it wont drain and therefor slow spin. If so check out the pump, you may be able to clean it out.
