I can turn my ac all the way up, but no air blows out of the vents anymore. I went up into the attic and found some holes in the manifold, which I patched with flashing but still nothing coming out of the vents.
there is cold air still leaking out of the manifold in places, but it doesn't make sense why there wouldn't be anything coming out of the vents. |

You may need to have the A coil acid cleaned. I've had this happen where the fins collected so much dust that no air flowed across the coils. The AC unit would run 24/7 and never cool the house.
If this is what you need done, it'll probably run about $350 - $400. |

Yip.
The A coil is right above your fan (for the most part. There is a drain hose and a copper line coming from it. There should be a cover with some screws holding it on. I have taken this panel off and used a product called "Blast a coil" and cleaned the A coil before. It foams up for a while then it evaporates. |

It's probably froze up. Go out side and see if there is any ice on the lines going to the outdoor unit, if you can see the compressor, check on that also. If it is iced up, turn your AC off, turn the fan to on, let the indoor coil defrost. 2 reasons for iceing up, 1-low refigerant, 2-lack of air flow ( could be dirty filter, dirty coil, fan motor problems, among other things) |

I saw it done on TV once.
