| I am about to lay peel and stick tile in a 20x20 room. I am laying 9/16 plywood over old asbestos tile to use as underlayment. I am also putting down a liquid self stick tile primer prior to laying the tile. The tile is 2mm thick light commercial self stick. I am also planning to use a heavy roller on the tile after it is laid. I have zero experience in doing floors and I am only going on advice that I have been given. Am I missing anything, or does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance. |
| Old thread, but if you haven't already completed it, I would suggest some straight lines before you stick it. Amazing what looks straight when you're on your knees and looks like crap when you stand back. I've never done the peel n stick tiles, only regular tile but the straight line's a must! |
