Any recommendations on a ladder standoff? I picked up one made by Werner at home depot but the feet on it are not very good and supposedly the feet are not supposed to go onto the roof. This is pertinent to my interests I'm also looking for a stabilizer for my ladder. The Manufacture has the item listed at a lower price, depending on shipping cost it might beat amazon. |

I have and prefer the larger square tubing models.
they use shackles to attach around the highest run and rails of the ladder at the same time. Both of mine are 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch square tubing. About 30 inches wide with around 15 inches of stand off. No drilling to mount. The levelers on the bottom require drilling and are just as useful (if not more). |
