I have a 20 amp circuit with a ground fault breaker in my outside electrical panel it feeds this box
The line coming out on the left going down feeds a box sitting in the lawn that runs to the pool light.
the other line on the left goes to the switch for the pool light.
Front lin feed sprinkle system.

the top box is my water sprinkler system

Pool light switch I replaced the outlet with a water proof one the socket was not wired. Haven't used the pool light since we moved in in 2003.

I would like to clean it up and run another line out up to the eve and then 60' to the other end of the house to an outdoor plug. Along the way I want to put a box to power a flood light.

With only the pool light and sprinkler system on the line I am assuming I could run my new line.  The sprinkler system was added two years after we bought the house. The line was only powering the pool light before.

Second question how do I get into the box? Tried to take the top off and no luck.  Should I just replace it?  What would be in the box for the pool light?

Pool motor is run off another breaker.

It looks like the lowest box is being used as a junction box to distribute the power.

If you're trying to open the lowest box, remove the rusty screw on the front near the bottom.  It's hinged at the top and should rotate upwards.  You'll probable have to remove the clamp that's holding the flex cable to the wall.

ETA- look up "in use cover"  that's what you should have on the weather proof box for the receptacle and switch.  In the big picture, that should be a two gang box with a GFCI.. Is the circuit GFCI protected in the panel box?

That lower box is the transformer for the pool light. Have fun trying to open the "hinged top".

Light switch cover

This is the cover on the light switch now. It only has 2 wires for the switch no power in box.
