Well it's to late to make sure the tile did not contain asbestos. Hopefully when you said new, that meant it was recently built.
Now to answer tour question. Yes you need to clean the glue off the concrete. You should use the proper substrate before you apply the tile. The final answer is to go to the John Bridge Tile website and register. You will find all the Correct information on how to install tile. After reading this post and going to the John Bridge site never return to this post. Save yourself a lot of headache and ask your tile questions there. |
