[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Window AC unit Freezing

Almost solid, enough to block air circulating, have shut down to thaw. Filter is clean. What problem do I have? HELP AND THANKS

Leak, Low on Freon. Probably not worth fixing.

The coils could be dirty. Simple green is what I soaked mine in then used a pressure washer to clean it up

Low refrigerant or restricted air flow.
