Above is a picture facing the street from the inside of my garage. There is a slight slope from the street towards my garage, and also towards the right. This has only became a problem in the late winter/spring when snow is melting and water just sits in those two spots. The right side is more problematic because it has lead to water in the garage and freezing the man door shut.

I’ve thought about just digging down 1-2ft and filling the void with large stone and then smaller stuff on top, would this be sufficient?

Why not French drain across the front of your garage? If you're gonna dig anyways...

I’ll have to do some research on the french drain, but I always assumed they needed somewhere to exit.

The “un-soded” part you're seeing is my driveway, there shouldn’t be grass there.
