I've got a HVAC unit and have noticed that recently it doesn't work. The inside air handler and thermostat work. The unit is about 1 year old, and it just clicks and hums, no attempt at turning the blower at all.

No idea as to what I should try?

Capacitor.  Turn the power off at the disconnect and open it up.  If it's seems like it is bulged, out of shape, or leaking replace it.  You need to know the uf rating and the voltage rating, both of which should be printed on the capacitor.  If it is less than a year old it is probably under the installers labor warranty, call them and find out.
