Howdy guys,

I have a air compressor with a square D pressure switch mounted on top. I have 220 wired from the breaker box going to the switch. How do I wire the switch?  Also how do I wire the motor. There is an L1 and L2 terminal.

Here is the plug that gets attached to the box on the wall.
G= Ground
B= Black
W= White

Here is the pressure switch on the compressor. This is how I have it wired.
BI= Black in
BO= Black out (to motor)
WI= White in
WO= White out (to motor)

Thats right  but you need to make sure that your motor is wired for 220 as some compressors have a duel voltage motor and will run at either 120 or 220 volts.

It was previously wired for 220 so I know it runs off of it.

Which colored wire do I hook up to the L1 and L2 on the motor? White to L1 & black to L2 or reversed?

It doesn't matter it will run either way as long as it 220 volts
