sooo I sold my 06 DD Taco because it was a POS. I'm now back to DDing my tried and true 98 Taco. It's been my hunting rig for the last 3 years - and is scratched to shit!!

I figured I'd invest into a detail system and do it myself.

So I ordered a bunch of stuff from The Chemical Guys and I'm wondering if you all can recommend anything else? Or any tips/tricks.

Yea, I know. I've been debating OD or Dessert Tan (flat). But my last flat job on my 83 Toy was a PITA.
I'm definitely not paying 3K for re-paint. It's just going to get beat up in the woods.
Figured I'd do a little up-keep since its only been waxed maybe 2 times over the last 7 years.
It's almost embarrassing to drive with the amount of scratches (surface - not deep)

I'm currently having my 1996 Toyota T100 coated in Linex.  All of it!  Maroon exterior and black bed interior.  Don't have it back yet but was quoted $2200 and he said that it would not exceed that.  Getting the bed done and then having the exterior repainted would have been more than that.
