So recently our oven stopped cooking things thoroughly.  Cookies get cooked on top but are doughy on the inside.

The thing I cannot figure out though is that we have a separate thermometer inside the oven and it appears that the oven is reaching the correct temperature.

This is NOT operator error.  These are recipes that we have used for a long time, but recently have stopped cooking all the way through.

Any ideas?

Are both the top and bottom elements getting hot or is just one working?

Most likely the bottom element is out.

Other thing that might be out is the relay on the control (whole board gets replaced)

Only the bottom element comes on while baking. When broiling, the top element works. Should the top element come on while baking?

No, just the bottom. Broil would be top only.

Humm... I don't do appliance repair so I am out of ideas. Hopefully someone here can help ya.
