Hey guys, anyone here know anything about fixing DVD players???
We have an Onkyo 5 -disc changer that is not reading the discs after a session of my 3 year old messing with it. When you put in a DVD, it will try to load, but then will say "No Disc". The carousel is making a humming sound when it turns. Sometimes the disc will spin, but sometimes not. It seems to be more of mechanical problem since we have gotten it to read a disc a few times, once when my husband tried taking it apart. But once he put it back together, it went back to saying "No Disc." Any advice? Is is toast? Worth repairing? |

Have you tried cleaning the laser...
