here's what i wrote in the leaked thread. wasn't bad but wasn't good. It had its moments but then it just kinda goes off on some tangent also did the writers even bother to watch the first film? is it too much to ask for a movie that is a movie first and X-men second? a lot of the shit was just tossed in there to show off some ones powers. and the whole killing off the ummm A-team  it just didn't make any since.Really I think Heroes has really set the bar higher then the producers thought and it just makes this movie seem all the worse. The movie would have been great had it been X-men the A-team and followed them getting the adamantium then the surgery wolverine and ending with him waking up in alkali. Logan could have been an evil bad ass motherfucker instead we get wolverine the faggety ass in love lumberjack. |

The movie got mixed reviews so I was skeptical going in but after seeing it I thought the movie rocked. Exactly. I have a lot of Wolverine comics, but went this afternoon with the understanding that it was going to have certain "differences" and likely not match up exactly with the prior films. It wasn't perfect or the best comic movie ever, but I enjoyed the shit out of it and will be buying it on Blu-ray when it comes out. I thought it was a hell of a lot better than The Last Stand, that was a crapfest. |

It wasn't bad, but could have been better. As for the two end spoilers, ??? As in two different movie endings? The only one at the end of what I saw (today) had Logan in a bar in Japan drinking.
Aside from that, I would have liked some more time on the wars (I thought they might show a cameo of him meeting Steve Rogers in WW2) and was Stan Lee anywhere? He usually makes a cameo somewhere but I didn't see him. |
