This is a movie that will test your Suspension of Disbelief.
Previously movies like Die Hard, etc were pushing the edge of this, and then The Matrix pushed it a step further which is why it was revolutionary and memorable. "Wanted", with its cheesy bullet curving that is so easy to dismiss, has just raised the bar past The Matrix. Watch the lobby scene in The Matrix and the final assault from Wanted and tell me which one is better. |

Just watched it, and it was ok I guess. Granted they only have so much time for the movie, but I think they just rushed the 'plot' along too much. Also? I was a happy camper when AJ took a bullet. I never did like her.
Hell for that matter, I didn't think much of any of the characters in this movie. Normally you can find at least one you like. Not this one. 
I never liked the matrix either. Over rated drivel, and now everyone wants to do that crap. I hope batman is better. |

I'm glad. I never did get around to seeing it, and I had/have high hopes for it. From the previews, it looks like we got a decent Joker. Any idea what they're going to do next? Or if there is a 'next'? Maybe I should get a bigger tv to watch it? |

It was decent, I feel it was good for the price 
Had some pretty cool stuff in it, the 3-stage bullets thing had me raging, as did the suicide bullet...I lol'd when that dump truck unloaded all those rats... I also lol'd pretty hard thinking of the "Kill 1, save a thousand" as they essentially derailed a passenger train full of joe citizens into that ravine... |

it was horrible, you guys would have liked the comic book a lot better. let me set it up for you.
In the book the kid is the same. but the "fraternity" are not assassins they are all super villans, The world is set in a kind of DC comic book universe and the writer Mark Millar was making fun of lame characters like superman. The villians in that world all ganged up and beat the heroes. Then made a machine that made all the people forget that they ever existed. The bad guys then controlled the police and media so they go around killing, raping etc whenever they felt like it and nothing happens to them and its covered up. Wesleys dad was the famous Bad guy The Killer and he was just a really good shot and just a plain bad ass. It looks like he is killed. he isnt, He fakes it. He is part of the council that make the rules. His death causes a faction and one side starts killing the other. Fox goes and gets him cause she is in with his dad who is really alive and was his GF and becomes Weslesy GF. after he learns to be an asshole and do whatever he wants etc, he kills of the other side, In a war that takes out most of both sides. At the end his dad comes out and tells him he isnt dead and explains the whole plan. He wants to retire because he is old and doesnt want some noob to kill him so he wants his son to do it. So he asks him to kill his dad with the 1st gun he ever used to kill with. Wes tells him he loves him and his dad says I love you, then he blows his head off with a M9. Wes takes over with Fox as his bitch and thats how it ends. Its great. the BGs are the main characters and all the other villans are great. In one part they talk about how they brought down the superman version in that universe by getting his GF to put a kryptonite condom on him |

| I am bothered as hell by shoot from the hip, what are sights for, finger on the trigger while completing crazy acrobatics, hold the gun sideways, never change a mag unless it looks cool to drop the old one, take cover behind a car door to stop a bullet but shoot through anything else on earth, type of movies. |
I feel your pain 68Firebird, it's gotten to the point where I can't watch too many movies anymore. If things are so outrageous I just get mad. Did you ever see Van Helsing? That whole 'gas operated' crossbow had me bitching for days. On the other hand, The Crow was awesome! The new lost boys sucked out loud. Skin Walkers - Had its moments. page 2! yay me

Just watched it last night. I thought it was a great movie. The last line of the movie made the wife and I both laugh.
I'm looking forward to watching it again. It was definitely an over the top movie but extremely entertaining. The curving and mult-stage bullets were a little strange, but hey, its a movie. If you aren't watching a documentary don't expect realism in a movie. I'd give this movie a 7.5. Lots of action, bloody at times without being full of gore, and good special effects. |
other than that I say it suck'd and they chose the wrong kid to play a "BadAss" .. and jolie smokin hott as always!

Wife & I went to the video store & they had this & batman both in. Unfortunately it was the wifeys b-day so we left with Wanted.
All the crazy car flipping, bullet curving, super over the top unrealistic action shit wears me out. I'm all for being entertained but this show was just a bit excessive for my taste. To be honest, I watched Nim's Island with kids beforehand and enjoyed it much more. It was funny to see Leonidas from 300 now that he's not hitting the gym 8hrs a day any longer. Hell, he's almost as fat as me now  .

| It mostly sucked. The narration at the beginning reminded me of a bad mimic of Norton's character in "Fight Club". The movie was lame, the only redeeming things about it was the scene where the protagonist attacked the HQ & the scene where AJ climbs out of the healing bath. |

I loved it. Unbelievable silliness but great special effects, action and very entertaining. I had never seen the kid before but liked his character and Jolie was smokin' as usual. Saw it once in the theater and watched the DVD 'bout 4 times now. What the F**k have you done lately?
