My daughter got me a months subscription for Fathers day, I cant believe I lived without it this long!  I will never have to drive into town and look through thousands of movies again, just click it, and two days later it is in your mail box(I get three at a time)! If you have not tried Netflix, I highly recommend it.

Yea, it's pretty good. I wish the selection was better and the turnaround time faster. But for the price it beats going to the video store.

I only have about 120 in my queue.  I like that they have titles that they will never carry at my local video rental store.

Their online selection is getting better all the time. Last year it kinda sucked. Then they started adding more and more stuff (their old TV shows selection is great). I checked them out last weekend and they have added a lot more movies. Still has quite a ways to go compared to the physical disks, but they have improved a lot!!

Wish for a better selection? They have over 70K titles!! That beats ANY video store. I don't know how it is where you live, but I generally get the movies 2 days after I put one in the mailbox.

Selection?

Maybe a year ago, but they have just about every DVD that is available now.

In the 6 months I've had it they've added a ton of stuff I never thought they'd ever have.

If you can't find it on Netflix, it's probably not out.

And they now have a TV-interface that lets you watch your Netflix live shows on the TV without needing a media computer.  It's about $100 for the box, my wife and I are thinking of getting it this fall.

Deathwish 3, I think

Their selection is great, if it's on DVD, they have it somewhere

How is the quality for you when using view online?  Even on more recent shows/movies where one would think the video would be fairly clear, it seems rather pixelated.

Netflix shipping centers slammed by problems

Netflix shipping centers slammed by problems
Difficulties befall all of Netflix's distribution centers, but company has yet to pinpoint cause.
Last Updated: August 14, 2008: 3:26 PM EDT
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Netflix Inc. said Thursday that major technical problems over the past 3 days have severely limited the number of DVDs it could send out.

The unspecified problems affected all of the Los Gatos, Calif.-based company's 55 shipping centers and marked the biggest disruption in service since Netflix launched its DVD-by-mail subscription business 9 years ago.

It was unclear when normal shipments from the online DVD-rental leader would resume.

Netflix spokesman Steve Swasey said the company was able to send out some discs on Wednesday, but shipped none on Tuesday and hadn't shipped any Thursday morning either.

About a third of the company's 8.4 million subscribers are currently waiting for DVDs held up by the problems. Affected customers were promised a credit to their accounts for the delay.

The glitches didn't affect Netflix's Web site or its service for streaming movies and television shows instantly to customers' computers.

Previously, Netflix's longest disruption had been in July 2007, when its Web site went down for 18 hours. The company suffered another outage in March of this year, when the site was down for about 11 hours, resulting in a 1-day delay in delivering DVDs.

Swasey said that was the first time Netflix was unable to deliver DVDs for an entire day.

"When we miss on that, it's a big deal," Swasey said.

The company hasn't specified the problems that triggered the latest outage, nor has it identified the root cause.

Shares in Netflix rose 34 cents, or 1.1%, to $31.50 in mid-afternoon trading Thursday.

Just to let everyone know it maxes out at 500, including "saved".

Myself, I'm trying to watch every movie I've ever seen referenced anywhere. Yeah.

That has happen for every DVD I've gotten except the one DVD that had to come from Calif.
