Take out all the goddamned singing and you've got a decent movie. Johnny Depp's singing voice is very much like David Bowie's but that ain't enough to make this thing bearable.

This is something that should have never been made a movie.  It is a play and was written and performed for a broadway stage, not a silver screen.

I've had to explain to alot of people about existentialism since they didn't understand alot of the movie.  Yeah, I understood it, but I didn't like it that well either.

The only part of the movie I enjoyed was Sacha Baron Cohen's character.  I did get a few good laughs but other then that...yeah...too much damn singing.

Same here. The wife dragged me to it. I owed her for all the Zombie movies I've made her watch. One of the worst movies I have ever seen.

The play was better.

If they had kept more to the stage version the movie would have been so much better.
I kept waiting for the cast to start singing The Balled of Sweeny Todd. They should NOT have cut that song out.  It added so much to the play and cut out so much from the movie.

No, they should have cut ALL the songs out.
