is an AWESOME movie... THAT IS ALL... |
| Glad to hear you enjoyed it, and why not? After all, Juno is #57 on the official list of Stuff White People Like |
That list made me LOL. |
Funniest part was when Juno talked to Bleaker(sp?) at the lockers and they show the other girls eye |
just start renting indie movies. alot of them are basically the same movie. |
you sound like a part time movie critic... |

good movie.. check out the movie 'Rocket Science' Somewhat similar, in that strange awkward humor. I agree with the above poster, it's not like Napoleon Dynamite, but it shares some qualities.. i can't put my finger on it. anyway, you can find 'Rocket Science' online. |

I was very disappointed in the movie, especially for an ARFCOM recommendation. I couldn't stand Juno's character, the plot, and most of the music in the film. The best part was Rainn Wilson's character, and the film could be better if he had a bigger part in the movie. Instead I had to sit through a movie with a smart-ass irresponsible main character that needed a backhand to her jaw. I would rather sit through The Notebook than watch Juno again. At least that would get me brownie points with my wife. |

wow.. i don't know how to be tactful in saying this, so... august rush was gay. completely and utterly, i got stuck watching it on a plane and i found it unintentionally hilarious. the kid finds his parents... through music. HAHAHAHAHAHA! oh yea, and he lives with an old pedophile for a while too.. c'mon man. that movie should be ARFcom banned. |
Sorry, I must be getting a little |

I can't believe y'all liked this movie, tried to watch it the other night and turned it off after 40 minutes or so - I just could not stand it. Crappy music with dorky teenagers, no thanks - I didn't find any of it funny in the least. Must be for the young crowd. |
No need to apologize, now I feel like an a**hole... To each his own. |
"Hi, my name is Juno and I'm calling for a hasty abortion....oh wait...sorry I'm on my hamburger phone" HI-FUCKING-LARIOUS! If you liked her in Juno or didn't, rent HARD CANDY with Ellen Page. She is a phenom. I hope she doesn't Britney/Lindsay/Paris her life! |

Good movie... but I thought it was way overrated... much like Little Miss Sunshine. - I thought the girl was way too "mature" for her age... her dialogue just seemed really contrived... like the moronic writing Kevin Smith does for his characters where the guys are pretty much fuck-ups but their wordage reflects someone who took all AP courses in HS and was part of the "smart but cool-in-a-geeky-kind-of-way" kids. How many people actually talk like that. And how many 16 year olds are that heavy into music that is way beyond their years... I'm sure they're out there but... - The actress was pretty awesome though - I thought the thing between her and Jason Bateman was kinda creepy - Jennifer Garner was so uptight it made me constipated - I like the guy that player Juno's BF, but he's also way uptight or nervous or something... cool actor but I'm not sure I believe there are many kids like that. - The parents were pretty awesome. I love the scene at the ultrasound. I think this review more or less sums up how I thought of it:

My daughter, for one, can talk and does similarly to Juno. Keeps me on my toes. I do not consider that a proponent of teen pregnancy. It is just a story. |
Because it's true
