Anyone seen the movie 'Beowulf'? Is it good or is it crap? Looks alittle like 300. Maybe it is and maybe its not, but thats just a guess. Sorry if this a dupe, could not find it in archives. |

Anonymous? Looked a helluva lot like Sean Bean to me. The movie was impressive, accomplishing many things a live action version could not have, but they've still got a problem making hands and fingers look natural, and any subtlety John Malkovich's performance may have had was completely lost in the animation. His accent was also uncharacteristically awful. |

lol, of course the story is good! It's thousands of years old handed down by oral tradition and finally written down much like the Illiad. We studied it in senior English Literature class. I thought the animated version was pretty good. May have to pick up the exteded unrated version and see if it's better. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beowulf |
Tell the truth. Your watching it online aren't you? I know because I saw that exact same copy. I looked harder & eventually found a good quality version but I'm not supposed to link to those sites anymore. |
No, actually it's the DVD we got from Netflix. I think the only way to see it would be in a totally dark room... |
I went into a store with a lot of fancy big screen TV's a while back. I've noticed that when I looked at them, I had to either bend down at a funny shape or the picture wouldn't look good. ![]() Let me guess, you have a big LCD or fancy plasma TV. I just have a regular TV but it works for me. |
I wish I had a big LCD or fancy plasma, nut nope...just a Sanyo 32-inch. Nonetheless, I'm not impressed with themovie and am REALLY glad I didn't go see it at the theatre. |
