this thing is pretty cool but i notice i cant save too many movies. is there any way to rig it up so it will have a bigger hard drive?

What receiver model # do you have? Is there a USB port in the back?

the one I had would lock up and freeze a lot if my HD was over about half full.

yeah it has a usb port on the back. not sure about the model number, i got everybody bitching at me to get out of their way

Mine will hold 100 hours of video if I remember right.
